A little about me

Edna Pitao-Honor.

Provincial Prosecutor. Writer. A life beyond the office.

Portrait from my published author profile

My work, and the life around it.

I’m Edna Pitao-Honor, Provincial Prosecutor of Biliran. This is a home for my work and the life around it: research, public service, reflections, and the people I carry with me. My legal writing explores how the justice system can better respond to gender-based violence and protect children within the prosecution process.

I head the Office of the Provincial Prosecutor of Biliran, within the National Prosecution Service of the Department of Justice. My public engagements have included legal awareness, juvenile justice, and conversations with the next generation of lawyers.

Beyond the office.

My public journal also holds family notes, journeys, pilgrimage photographs, and time on the pickleball court. They belong here alongside my professional work.

There is a dedicated chapter for Arvin, my late husband. The music we knew at home and the memories I have shared about him are part of our family story.
