The Bee Gees were part of the sound of our home. I heard their songs so often that I came to know many of them by heart. Our children grew up with that music, too. On our twenty-fourth wedding anniversary, Dad, I find myself greeting you in a place I never imagined.
My promise continues: to nurture and guide our children, and help them grow into people who bring good to society. I think of you watching us from afar as I carry that responsibility forward.

A year has passed, Dad, and grief still finds its way into my days. I once imagined that, by now, the tears would have stopped. Instead, I have learned how to conceal them, while the longing for your presence remains.
This anniversary holds both the pain of losing you and the life we shared. I remember your leaving as my saddest moment, and I keep praying that you rest in God’s embrace as we find our way through life here.
